Diligent

Proverbs 12:27 “ The lazy man does not roast what he took in hunting, But diligence is man’s precious possession.”

So I hurt my finger earlier.

Um, I was basically trying out a mic stand that I was gonna use to put a, um, iPad on that, uh, someone tomorrow could use to FaceTime some relatives in another city, um, who was planning on, you know, who was working on their house and, you know, wanted to have questions for, you know, to be able to answer for the realtor and all that good stuff.

When I turned the little knob down there, it fell down and it pinched my finger.

And when it did that, I was going to do this journal today so I could actually start working on the blog for the church.

But I use that as an excuse not to do it.

And then I realized I can just talk.

So, And that reminded me of Proverbs 12:27.

Actually, it reminded me of being diligent to complete, which I think the Lord has got you doing, and to be diligent about completing the task that you’ve set for yourself in life.

Um, and the Bible is replete with instructions that a person that is diligent is blessed, and that that in itself can be a reward.

Um, even says in Proverbs 12:27.

The lazy man does not roast what he took in hunting, but the diligence is a man’s precious possession.

Let me read that again since I tripped on it a bit.

Proverbs 12:27.

The lazy man does not roast what he took in hunting, but diligence is a man’s precious possession.

Um, because I can take things that don’t belong to me or that I didn’t earn or have, uh, and and sustain myself on it.

But being diligent, being a diligent person is a person, not only that you can trust yourself, but that others can trust you, that you’re going to accomplish what it is that you set out to do.

So I just want to encourage you today.
